What do you like to read in your free time?
I most love to read non-fiction stories by and about women’s lives. Elizabeth Gilbert and Brene Brown are two of my favorite authors. But I could read Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice a million times and never tire of reading it!

What projects are you working on at the present?
I’ve started hosting women’s retreats. I’ve named them: Your Beautiful Escape – A retreat for women to BREATHE and BE. At my retreats women get lots of relaxation time. Time to listen to their heart. And there are tools to help women do just that. Art supplies for painting and coloring. Soul collage making. Journaling materials. Yoga. Beautiful settings. Self-care. I’m taking registration now for my October beach retreat in Gulf Shores, Alabama at www.yourbeautifulescape.com

I hosted my first coloring party in August and it was so much fun for me and the fifty plus woman who attended, I now plan to start hosting monthly coloring parties on third Sundays. These free admission parties will include downloadable coloring pages and coloring technique video demonstrations. Sign up to be on the party invite list at www.letscolorourworldparty.com Coloring party show-n-tell takes place in a private Facebook party group on party days. There are giveaways from those posting photos of their colored pages.

My new publishing company, Ranch House Press, has recently created a Book Club in a Box package for each of my books that provides discounts when purchasing quantities of 5 or 10 books. These boxes also include free bookmarks, tote bags and more.

For my adult coloring book Oh, how the years fly by, there is a Color Your World home party box! The party box also includes bookmarks and tote bags plus the party hostess receives a complimentary coloring book and quote book, which is a hardcover full-color rendition of my adult coloring book. And there are six gorgeous downloadable coloring party invitations that come with the purchase of a Color Your World party box!

What do your plans for future projects include?
I’m super excited to launch a Journal of the Month Club in January 2017.  I’m designing twelve unique journals and themes for each month of the year. The journal covers will be gorgeous watercolor images that will inspire and delight!
The club will be a paid membership program that features the option of downloadable journaling pages to build your own journal as well as paperback and spiral editions that will be published by my publishing company, Ranch House Press. There will be a private Facebook group where members receive daily journaling inspirations and prompts. These will also be shared via emails. Club memberships will launch in October 2016 with a Charter Membership Special Offer.

What book do you wish you could have written?
Elizabeth Gilbert’s Eat, Pray, Love! I would have loved to live in other places, exotic places for a time in my life. And journal and write like crazy! But of course her big adventures and grand lessons were born out of sad and dramatic changes in her life.  It’s more glamorous and exciting in reflection than I suspect it was while she was living day by day during that time in her life.

What’s something fun or funny that most people don’t know about you?

I don’t just talk to myself. Talking to myself makes me giggle because I have lots of memories of my grandmother talking to herself. But I love to dance! All the time! I boogie while I cook or while I’m putting on my make-up. You might even see me doing ballet leaps or pirouettes down the hallways of my house.
